At church and at home, we are seeking to help your kids become fully devoted followers of Christ!
The mission of Crosspoint Kids is helping kids become fully devoted followers of Christ, and our Sunday gatherings are just one of the ways that we endeavour to fulfill that mission. Keep reading to find out what you and your kids can expect on a Sunday morning!
This is a loving and safe environment where our littlest Crossointers are cared for and given an opportunity to play with leaders and other children. Older kids will get to experience music, storytime, and a snack as they begin their journey of becoming fully devoted followers of Christ.
This is a fun and engaging environment which encourages kids to build relationships with God and each other. Through a combination of free play, music, storytime, snack, crafts, and organized games, children get to continue on their discipleship journeys by both hearing about and experiencing God’s love.
Every week, our elementary kids will hear a true story from the Bible as they begin to see how they can also be a part of God’s story. They will get to participate in music and storytime during Large Group; then, they will eat a snack, discuss what they learned, make a craft, and play games during Small Group.
For our oldest kids, our goal is to provide significant faith-forming experiences. Grades 5-6 kids will remain with their parents/guardians in the Worship Centre for the singing portion of the adult gathering, then go to their room with the Grades 5-6 group leaders to eat snack, study the Bible, play games, and learn what it means to be a fully devoted follower of Christ.

Upon arrival, families should proceed to the Check-In station in the lobby (it’s bright yellow and hard to miss). Because we value the safety of your kids, we’ll need some basic information during check-in: parent/guardian’s name, email address, and phone number; child’s name, birthday, allergies, and any special instructions.
Note: Fill out the online registration form below before you arrive to speed up the check-in process.
You will receive a name label for your child and a parent/guardian security label which ensures that only you (and people you select) can pick up your child. A volunteer will then lead your family downstairs to our Crosspoint Kids ministry space.
Children are welcome to join us up to 15 minutes before the gathering begins. If this is your first time visiting, it can be especially helpful to come a few minutes early to give your kids time to adjust to this new setting.
At the end of the gathering, please make your way downstairs with your parent/guardian security label. A volunteer will check this label, then allow you to pick up your kids from their designated spaces.
The safety of your children is very important to us, which is why we have a Crosspoint Protection policy in place. All children’s ministry volunteers are required to complete a thorough screening process that includes Police Checks, Vulnerable Sector Checks, and appropriate training. So rest assured- your kids are in loving and capable hands!
For the well-being of all kids and volunteers, we ask that anyone experiencing cold or flu symptoms remain at home until symptoms subside.
We love having your family join us in Crosspoint Kids on Sunday, but we know that most faith formation happens at home. Here are a variety of discipleship tools & resources for your entire family to use throughout the week.
You may have heard that our mission in Crosspoint Kids is helping kids become fully devoted followers of Christ. And that sounds nice, but how do we actually do this?
At its core, our mission is about discipleship. Discipleship is a journey, so at Crosspoint, we want to emphasize the importance of each step. There is no "final destination" for our discipleship journey on earth; we simply commit to continue moving forward, one small step at a time. This is why our events, programs, and resources in Crosspoint Kids are carefully designed to give your child the opportunity to take another step.
At Crosspoint, we’ve created a book that illustrates the discipleship opportunities that we have cultivated within our Crosspoint ministries, but it also asks you to reflect on your own discipleship journey, and consider how you might create opportunities for your kids to experience discipleship at home.
On the fourth Sunday of each month, kids in grades 1-6 are invited to join their parents in the Worship Centre at the beginning of the gathering, where we will participate in worship and communion together. Kids at Crosspoint are welcome to take communion, although we recognize that there are different views and encourage parents and guardians to decide what is best for their own family.
We have put together this Family Communion Guide, which outlines what Crosspoint thinks about children and communion, and offers practical tools for how you might explain communion to your own kids.
One of the marks of a disciple is Pursuit; the desire to know Christ personally above all things. Our kids will come to know Christ when they seek him through personal spiritual practices like Bible reading and prayer. One way you can do this is by establishing a Bible Time as part of your family's regular rhythm.
Family Bible time is going to look different for everyone. There’s no right or wrong way to do it; what matters is that you’re teaching your kids the importance of prioritizing a relationship with Jesus.

Lastly, below are some kid-friendly Bible reading plans that you can follow. For younger kids, you might want to split the readings into even smaller chunks.
