Who We Are
We are a student ministry that is passionate about helping students become fully devoted followers of Christ. Our hearts beat to see students find a place in our community, and in the greater body of Christ. Our youth team serves students within the Crosspoint community, as well as within the northeast Edmonton community.
If you are in grades 7-12 we invite you to join us not only in our student ministry, but in the Crosspoint family.
What We Do
We have two ways for students to get involved with Crosspoint Students: House Parties and The Movement.
House Parties, which are our version of Home Groups, are an opportunity for students in grades 7-12 to come together in a safe environment with other students their own age to study the Bible, ask questions the tough questions about faith, and have a place to connect mid-week with other students who are journeying with Christ.
House Parties happen every Tuesday evening from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Students meet in two separate homes (Jr High and Sr High) around northeast Edmonton.
These are our Friday night events that bring together both Jr and Sr High students. We meet on Fridays usually once or twice a month.
Collide is an environment that is safe to bring friends to. We help students connect with each other while we creatively share the truth of the Gospel. We often host entertaining activities and use these events as a springboard toward spiritual conversations. We will sometimes attend worship gatherings with other youth groups throughout the city. We also do combined events with the Vault Youth Drop-in Center. These events are designed to help reach out to students in the northeast community who are not yet plugged into a church community
This is our fall retreat. The WKND is our weekend to get away from the city and create a space for God to move in the lives of students. We aim to create memories around fun, creative, impactful games and establish a space where students can hear the Word and engage in worship together. This retreat takes place at Teen Time Camp.
We also participate in and host other events such as our annual kick-off party, spring conference, Galaxyland, Waterpark, and other activity-based events. These are great events for students to bring friends to.
