WORSHIP COORDINATOR

Crosspoint Church is seeking to hire a part-time Worship Coordinator. This is an eight hour per week role. There is future potential to increase the number of hours for this position.

Job responsibilities will include:

  • Recruit and equip teams of volunteer musicians and vocalists
  • Schedule all worship teams through Planning Centre
  • Lead worship during Sunday gatherings as part of worship leader rotation
  • Work closely with the Lead Pastor and worship leaders to creatively design Sunday morning gatherings through long-term planning
  • Develop and mentor a team of worship leaders through regular training meetings
  • Give oversight to weekly worship rehearsals as needed
  • Manage worship library and worship budget
  • Actively participate on the staff team to give collaborative direction to the church

We are looking for someone with a positive “can do” attitude, good emotional intelligence, and team-building skills, who can motivate and inspire volunteers. The candidate should have musical competencies and experience leading contemporary worship. This person should also have good computer and administrative skills.

As this is a church ministry position, this person must be a growing Christ-follower.

SUMMER CHILDREN'S PROGRAM ASSISTANT

Crosspoint Church is seeking to hire a Summer Children’s Program Assistant for 10 weeks from May 21 – August 5, 2018.  This role is 30 hours per week. 

Job responsibilities will include: 

  • Assisting with planning, preparation and implementation of music, games, storytelling, and crafts for children ages 0- grade 6 at Crosspoint Church on Sunday mornings.
  • Assisting with administrative roles, creative planning, craft preparation, game preparation, leadership development and training of volunteers related to the preparation for Kid's Kapers Daycamp.
  • Assisting the Camp Director during two weeks of Kid’s Kapers by taking on key leadership roles.
  • Leading one week of Kid’s Kapers as Camp Director at the end of the summer.
  • Assisting with clean-up of camp.

A person in this role should have experience working with elementary-aged children.  A candidate who is currently studying at the post-secondary level in fields related to children’s ministry or education would be ideal.  As this is a church staff position, this person should be a growing Christ-follower.
